About
The parallel twin-screw extruders of the 36D series are specially designed for PVC processing. Their goal: maximum economic efficiency through high output and best product quality. Our broad product range with modular concept offers economical and high-performance production solutions tailored to pipe extrusion.
Technical Features
- The 36D twin-screw extruders with their screw concept are ideally suited for the production of U-PVC, M-PVC and foamcore PVC pipes as well as PVC-O pipes.
- The parallel twin screws are armored as standard on the flights with a molybdenum welding layer patented by KraussMaffei
- Modular extruder concept
- Lower material costs through higher filler content in the production of PVC compact pipe, but not at the expense of product quality
- PVC foam core pipe production with twin screw extruders of the 36D series
- Reliably produce single and multilayer pipes with the appropriate pipeheads and downstream components
Option
For particularly abrasive fillers and compounds with high filler contents, KraussMaffei offers specially protected tungsten carbide-armored screws paired with bimetallic barrels.
